Coverage depends on a participating agency and a matching record. The Antrim County inmate-information page links directly to VINELink, making it the county-endorsed notification route. 6. When a result or alert reports release or another custody change, confirm whether it means community release, transfer, or movement into another system.

The county's official inmate-information page links to VINELink but does not publish a current roster, recent-release table, release date field, or archive. That makes VINE useful as one check, not as a replacement for the Antrim sheriff's durable release record.

4. When MI-VINE calls, listen to the message. Enter the PIN followed by the pound sign.
5. The acknowledgement confirms receipt and stops repeat calls for that event. If the PIN is forgotten, call 800-770-7657 and press 0 for assistance.

Brochure editions have described different repeat-call periods, so no single duration should be promised. The reliable point is the PIN acknowledgement. It tells the system the event message was received. Keep the PIN private and make sure voicemail or call-blocking settings do not prevent the chosen phone from receiving an automated notice.

Antrim VINE Email and Text

Email and text registration begin from the same verified person record. Select the offered event, enter the address or mobile number, and complete any confirmation step shown by the live service. These electronic channels do not use the phone PIN. MI-VINE sends a message when the registered event or status changes.

A contact method can fail even when a registration is valid. Phone numbers change, email can be filtered, and mobile service can lapse. Review the live registration and use more than one supported channel when the service permits it. Direct victims seeking added MDOC notices, including parole activity, may need separate registration with MDOC Crime Victim Services at 877-886-5401. That program is distinct from a basic public VINELink custody alert.

VINEmobile is another way to access VINE. It is a state and national custody-notification app, not an Antrim County sheriff roster or mugshot application. No official Antrim sheriff mobile app advertising recent releases or booking photos was verified in the research.

Antrim VINE Transfer Continuity

Michigan introduced RegistrationLink to help a notification follow a person from a participating county jail into MDOC. This feature addresses a specific Antrim County problem. A person can leave the Antrim jail because the court committed or transferred that person to state custody. The local booking has ended, but community release has not occurred.

The historical announcement described broad statewide use, yet it does not prove current participation for every Antrim booking. Check the live person record and registration. When continuity works, it can reduce the risk that a county custody change is mistaken for the end of all custody. OTIS remains the public source for the later MDOC status, including Prisoner, Parolee, Probationer, and Discharged.

The feature is useful for continuity, but the person and participating agencies still must be verified in the current service.

Confirm Antrim VINE Release Results

VINE is a notification and custody-information service. It is not the owner of every underlying record. A missing result may mean the agency does not participate, the record has aged out, the name differs, the service is unavailable, or the person is outside the database's scope. No-result is not proof of release. A positive matching alert is stronger, but it still must be read as release, transfer, or another event.

For an Antrim County jail departure, call the Antrim County Correctional Facility at 231-533-8627 and ask whether the booking ended in community release or transfer. A narrow sheriff FOIA request can seek the booking and release timestamps, release or disposition code, code legend, and receiving agency. MiCOURT may show the court order or sentence, although an order can precede the physical exit while staff process holds and property.

If the court shows commitment to MDOC, use OTIS. Search Parolees for physical prison release with continuing supervision and Discharged for completed MDOC jurisdiction. For a federal sentence, use the BOP locator. The USMS prisoner tracking system has no public person search, and ICE uses a separate locator with a limited released-person window. These systems cannot be collapsed into a VINE result.

Timing can also create a gap. The court may enter an order before jail staff process holds, complete the booking exit, and update a participating system. A receiving agency may post its record later. During that interval, two official sources can appear to disagree. Ask the Antrim jail whether the booking ended in community release or transfer, then check the receiving system named in the durable record.
